That’s how much money I just dropped to buy a Vial of the Sands and a Mechano-Hog.
I’ve been slowly building up cash on the Auction House for a long time now, and I finally got enough to buy both at once. Yes, it’s indulgent. But I don’t care. They’re MINE now. I finally have a two-person flying mount and a two-person ground mount (although I already have the three-person Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth). They’re both a lot of fun to ride/fly around in/as, and they’re both still pretty rare.
Now, I’m going after the Red Dragonhawk, although I only have 72 (!) mounts.
What? There’s more than one MMORPG?

While I’m on hiatus from WoW, I thought I’d try Champions Online. It seemed like it could be cool. I’ve been on a big comic book kick lately (I’ve been reading Hellboy, Irredeemable, Flash, Scalped, and other great books) and the thought of creating my own superhero and engaging in superheroics sounded fun. And best of all, it’s free…sorta.
At first, I felt like creating a big dumb oaf good for smashing things, like The Hulk or The Tick. I gradually worked my way through the extremely elaborate character creator (man I wish WoW had more character options) and came up with this dude, whom I named “Adam Smasher”. Puns are an important part of superheroics. Read More »
Where the hell have I been and what the hell is going on?

If you’re a frequent visitor of this site (I know there are 2 or 3 of you out there) you’ve probably noticed over the years that my posting is very sporadic. I post dozens of times a month, then I’ll go 4 months with nothing at all. These usually coincide with me suspending and reactivating my WoW account.
At the moment, I’m not playing WoW, though I am making new posts to this blog. I’ve got numerous screenshots back-cataloged for me to post while I wait to reactivate my account.
I’ve been working quite a bit on a brand new template for this blog. What you’re looking at now (assuming you’re actually ON the blog and not an RSS feed or something) is unfinished, but it’s functional, and gives you a good idea of what direction I’m taking this site in. I’m definitely getting back to my roots, posting more humorous screenshots and not focusing as much on lengthy articles. With that in mind, the design of the blog is intended to showcase those screenshots much better, and I’m making it all fully integrated with Twitter, which works well with the new short-format focus.
That doesn’t mean I won’t be writing long posts anymore. It just means there are going to be more frequent updates. Truth be told, most of my writing these days is in 1-2 sentence snippets, but I definitely want to keep writing longer articles in the future, when I have something worth writing about.
So that’s it. Thanks for reading, and remember to Like and Retweet!
PS: Sorry I left that “Baluki is Dead” post up for such a long time with nothing after it. For a while, it looked like I’d quit completely.
