I’ve been known as Bevans since I was in Middle School. It’s not my real name, but it’s very close to it. I prefer not to use my real name here because people rarely ever use it, and also because I don’t want potential employers to find this site and be put off by any of my political or religious views.

I’m from a St. Paul suburb, and I’ve lived in this area for most of my life. It’s a nice place to live, despite the winters.

Philosophy: Secular Humanist
This is another of the big recurring themes. If you’re not familiar with that term, it usually means “Atheist” (and does in this case).
Political Views: Social Democrat
This comes from the Moral Politics Test, which seems to be a pretty good test of your personal political beliefs. I’m pretty much fiscally moderate, socially libertarian, and firmly anti-Corporatist. In major elections, I usually vote Democrat, but I despise them almost as much as I despise the Republicans. My political philosophy is: get the Republicans out of office, then get the Democrats out of office. In that order. The Democrats are the lesser of two evils, and I mostly vote for them to keep the Republicans out of power. If there were any viable alternatives, I’d probably vote for them, but there aren’t. And that sucks.
Profession: Freelance Graphic & Web Designer
More often than not, “freelance” is just another word for “unemployed”.
